The Jersey Shore Wildcats (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goalie Rio Virgoe has been called up to the NAHL to play for the Wichita Falls Wildcats as an emergency goaltender.
Virgoe (6’4/205) played 25 games for the Jersey Shore Wildcats, posted 15 wins with a .915 % save percentage and 2.91 GAA.
“Virgoe’s high level of competitiveness brought a whole new game to our team this season” said Head Coach/GM Corey Leivermann. “His hard work and dedication both on and off the ice were a clear example of why he was so successful as our starting goalie. Rio has a very bright future and on behalf of the entire Jersey Shore Wildcats organization, we wish him only the best.”
